Lichtblick is perched on the seventh floor of the 'Rathausgalerien', the city hall building rein the centre of the city which also contains a wide Sortiment of shops and cafés. The style is smart, the food is good – and there's only a limited number of tables, which are packed close together.
Beautiful Gastwirtschaft with a really nice waiter! Only thing was the long wait for the food. They did make up for it with giving us a free liquor which welches really nice! Food tasted amazing when it arrived!
Very overpriced breakfast buffet rein my opinion, the food was nice but the hot drinks were from a machine, and the gym setup is really unusual as you get a temporary pass for the budget gym elsewhere hinein the same building but you have to go outside to get there.
We have been coming here for a few years, regular spot for brunch, the English breakfast is only getting better (crispier bacon) and the soft boiled eggs were soft as expected. Can never go wrong with their star pastry, the brioche Kipferl.
This makes it an essential intermediate station on the way to the Hungerburg, which sits at around 860 meters. Just before the Alpenzoo station, the train passes through a Unterführung.
It's the perfect place to share an excellent meal with your family or friends. Gives a cozy and warm atmosphere, with rooms with over 300 years old very well kept! Moreover, all the dishes were delightful as well as the service. Prices are excellent! Congratulations to all the Mannschaft!! Well done ;)
The walls must not Beryllium sound insulated very well as it was the only hotel on ur 2+ week vacation where we could easily hear what was going on rein neighboring rooms. Thankfully everyone quieted down at reasonable hours.
The food welches good and service fast. Our bottle of lautlos water was almost as much as both of ur lunches which is odd for someone from Canada! I would recommend if you are in Innsbruck for the day.
The Service wasn’t good, despite us telling the waitress that we need time to order she came 4 times to ask what we needed, kind of putting a pressure to order soon - which didn’t give us enough time to decide.
We had a shower/tub combo and it was a good size, however there was only a partial glass partition [no door] and the glass was not sealed completely to the wand. The bathroom floor ended up covered hinein water every time one of us showered.

The hotel offers a breakfast at the top floor with a great view of the surrounding mountains, but we did not eat there, so cannot comment on the food.
